6:15 p.m. R3 16 Charminton (5 g Charm Spirit – Sarzana) – unfixed; drew outside barrier (14) in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 57.5kg. Ballot two, unlikely to gain start.

8:15 p.m. R7 1 King Arthur (6 g I Am Invincible – Pentasia) – Jamil Sarwi (a3); drew barrier 7 of 10 in the $100,000 Class 1 1200 metres on turf and carries 56kg. Returns off injury, top sprinter, and fitness will improve with racing.

9:20 p.m. R9 8 Artillery (3 g Smart Missile – Lycra Lass) – Simon Kok; drew barrier 2 of 10 in the $75,000 Novice 1400 metres on turf and carries 52kg. No luck last start, ideally drawn (2) but strikes hot field.

9:20 p.m. R9 10 Commander (3 g U S Navy Flag – Quest) – Andrew Adkins; drew barrier 2 of 10 in the $75,000 Novice 1400 metres on turf and carries 50kg. Last run was encouraging, light weight, but has to be sharp to measure up over 1400 metres.

9:50 p.m. R10 3 Aftermath (6 g Spirit of Boom – Elusive Gift) – Jamil Sarwi (a3); drew barrier 9 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 51.5kg. Good course/distance stats, weight relief, and can go well in competitive field.

10:20 p.m. R11 11 Countofmontecristo (10 g Echoes of Heaven – Replicate) – Mohd Zaki; drew barrier 2 of 16 in the $1m Singapore Gold Cup (Gr. 1, 2000m) and carries 50kg. Drop in ratings, down in weights, drawn barrier two helps, but he faces tough assignment.
