11.20 p.m. R1 5 Von Snitzel (6 g Snitzel - Lumir) - Manoel Nunes; drew barrier six of thirteen (12 run) in the $35,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 56.5kgs. With the champion jockey aboard, he strikes a reasonably strong field but is capable of getting some of the prize money.

12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R3 2 Om (5 g Darci Brahma - Songfest) - Craig Newitt; drew barrier four of twelve in the $60,000 Benchmark 67 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. Although preferring 1400m on the turf, he is bright for the assignment and always gives an honest account.

12.50 a.m. (Saturday) R4 6 King Savinsky (4 g Savabeel - Lynisky) - Corey Brown; drew barrier four of thirteen (12 run) in the $38,000 Kranji D 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 58kgs. Trainer Mark Walker was happy with last start effort over a shorter trip and although facing a strong field, he has a world-class rider aboard and is ideally drawn to finish in the top five.

Working well in training, he always gives his best and rates a top four chance - one of two in the race for Te Akau.

5.50 p.m. R1 6 Double Jeopardy (4 g Mettre En Jeu - Flyin' Finnish) - Manoel Nunes; drew barrier seven of eleven in the $35,000 Maiden 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 53ks. Galloped very well with this rider aboard through the week and ridden quietly in the early stages he can round off to prove a top four chance.

6.50 p.m. R3 4 Sole Commander (6 g Commands - Bartolomeo) - Michael Rodd; drew barrier three of ten in the $60,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. The jockey was keen to ride him again and ideally drawn to go a nice race.

8.25 p.m. R6 5 Keen Dragon (4 g Hidden Dragon - Wasatch) - Manoel Nunes; drew barrier seven of eight in the $65,000 Initiation Stakes 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 57.5kgs. He is the type that if they go hard in front can finish off into the first four.

Pleasing trainer Mark Walker with his work and condition leading into the race, he has a rider aboard that should suit his style, to be afforded a top four chance with luck in running - one of two in the race for Te Akau.

8.55 p.m. R7 3 Prince Mag (6 g Zamindar - Princess D'Orange) - David Flores; drew barrier ten of eleven in the $38,000 Kranji D 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 58kgs. Able to sit off the pace he can finish off strongly to rate a top four chance, and improve further with a step in distance.
9.25 p.m. R8 7 Regal Salute (5 g King's Chapel - Spring Dancer) - David Flores; drew the outside barrier of ten in the $35,000 Maiden 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 54kgs. He gets his chance to run an improved race, stepping to a mile.
