12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R2 9 Storm Trooper (3 g Tavistock - Shock) - Manoel Nunes; drew barrier eight of thirteen in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 2 & 3YO 1200 metres on the turf long course B and carries 57kgs. He has pleased trainer Mark Walker in his work since a very encouraging debut second and although meeting a stronger field on paper he rates a top four chance again.

1.20 a.m. (Saturday) R4 9 Affirmation (8 g Fastnet Rock - Affirmed Lane) - Craig Newitt; drew barrier six of twelve in the $35,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 55.5kg. He has been working well and the winner of eight races is always chance back in this grade.

Having continued to train well since a slightly unlucky run, he has drawn more favourably and brings the right form to rate a top four chance.

He will settle off the pace from the wide gate and look to run home strongly, as a top four chance in quite a strong field.

He has trained on well since his unlucky first start in Singapore, should appreciate the distance and turf track, and rates a top four chance.

6.20 p.m. R2 2 Keen Dragon (4 g Hidden Dragon - Wasatch) - Manoel Nunes; drew barrier two of fourteen (12 run) in the $65,000 Initiation 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 57.5kgs. Reported to be eating well and feeling bright, the plan is to ride him closer to the pace and a similar effort to last time can see a top four finish.

7.50 p.m. R5 5 Clermont Club (5 g Casino Prince - Razzle) - Manoel Nunes; drew barrier eight of ten in the $38,000 Kranji D 1700 metres on the poly track and carries 56.5kgs. He looks bright and has worked well for this race. Ridden positively to take up a handy position, he can finish in the first four if able to emulate his recent good form - one of two in the race for Te Akau.
7.50 p.m. R5 9 Ready Fortune (5 g More than Ready - Bahira) - Rawali Zawari (a3); drew barrier three of ten in the $38,000 Kranji D 1700 metres on the poly track and carries 52kgs. He has trained on well since his last start win and although up in grade he is ideally drawn to be considered a top five chance.

She is gradually getting back to a more competitive rating and has both a reasonable draw and weight relief to assist her chances.
