Te Akau Singapore Weekend Preview

Te Akau horses racing at Kranji Racecourse in Singapore, where trainer Mark Walker leads the premiership with 65 wins since the season started on 1 January. 

Friday October 2

12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R3 4 Appellation (4 g Pentire - Tattinger) - Yusoff Salim (a4); drew barrier one of ten in the $75,000 Novice 1100 metres on the polytrack and carries 54kgs. He is looking to get back in grade and will be more competitive in Class 5 - one of three in the race for Te Akau.

12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R3 7 Star Beauty (5 m Tale of the Cat - Quick Start) - Wei Sheng Chan (a3); drew the outside barrier of ten in the $75,000 Novice 1100 metres on the polytrack and carries 53.5kgs. She also appears outclassed in this field and will be better placed in Class 5 - one of three in the race for Te Akau.

12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R3 9 Fine Choice (3 g Coats Choice - She's Refined) - Mansor Firdaus (a2); drew barrier six of ten in the $75,000 Novice 1100 metres on the polytrack and carries 50.5kgs. A last start winner that has trained on well and he appears a top four chance.
