Te Akau Singapore Weekend Preview

Te Akau horses racing at Kranji Racecourse in Singapore, where trainer Mark Walker leads the premiership with 75 wins (9 ahead of 2nd) since the season started on 1 January. 

Friday November 13

11.20 p.m. R1 2 Our River Dancer (5 g Danehill Dancer - Distinctly) - Rahman Hasri (a4); drew barrier eleven of fourteen (12 run) in the $35,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the polytrack and carries 53kgs. He will improve for the run, before stepping over more ground - one of two in the race for Te Akau.

11.20 p.m. R1 4 Zac Command (8 g Ishiguru - Dominica) - Choon Ng (a4); drew barrier eleven of fourteen (12 run) in the $35,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the polytrack and carries 53kgs. He is a place chance despite preferring turf.

11.50 p.m. R2 2 Damon (4 g O'Reilly - Pretty) - Manoel Nunes; drew barrier twelve of sixteen (14 run) in the $65,000 Initiation 1400 metres on the turf long course A and carries 58kgs. In good form for his second up run, he rates a top five chance - one of two in the race for Te Akau.

11.50 p.m. R2 5 Zarules (4 g Zabeel - Gwen's Rules) - Alan Munro; drew barrier ten of sixteen (14 run) in the $65,000 Initiation 1400 metres on the turf long course A and carries 58kgs. Strikes a stronger field than last time, but he continues to improve and is a chance of finishing top five.

7.05 p.m. R3 5 Indian Jade (5 g Sleeping Indian - Flora Burn) - Manoel Nunes; drew the outside barrier of nine in the $100,000 Benchmark 97 1200 metres on the turf long course B and carries 53.5kgs. In great form and from the wide draw he should be running home strongly from off the pace.
