6:25 p.m. (NZ) - 4:25 p.m. (Vic) R7 4 The Mighty Spar (8 g Savabeel – O’Dianne) – Jett Stanley; he resumed with a terrific run for second in the Hanging Rock Cup (1800m) on 26 January, and closed strongly for fourth in the Colac Cup (2000 metres) on 6 February. Contesting the A$85,000 Ladbrokes Stony Creek Cup (2100m), he finished third in the corresponding race last year, and while he is preparing for the jumps' season, he brings fitness and the right form to rate a top three chance.
