2:12 p.m. R1 8 Sternland (4 m Astern - Landslide) - Niranjan Parmar (a3); she remained back in the same race as Patriarca (above) at Matamata, and likewise contests the $14,000 NZB Insurance Pearl Series Maiden 1400 metres (eligible $13,000 bonus). While she enjoys weight relief to 54.5kg, she does need to improve.

4:00 p.m. R4 1 Supreme Khan (5 g Mongolian Khan - Angelica Hall) - Niranjan Parmar (a3); he fought on well for sixth in the Rating 75 1600 metres on 29 October at Matamata, and contests the $14,000 Rating 75 1400 metres. He has the benefit of weight relief to 57kg and has first four claims with a decent trip from barrier 10 - one of a stable duo lining up.
