Te Akau New Zealand has three horses racing on Friday 24 November at New Plymouth - twilight meeting.
As on Thursday 23 November the conditions were: fine and Dead5, rail out 7 metres. No rain forecast.
3.39 p.m. R1 2 Aquilo (3 g Snitzel - My My Maree) - Michael McNab; was held up back in the field before making ground into to fourth when resuming in the 3YO 1200 metres on 4 November at Tauranga. Third in the Waikato Equine Veterinary Centre Stakes (Listed, 1100m) in May at Te Rapa, his form rates a top three chance in the $10,000 Rating 65 1100 metres.
4.49 p.m. R3 1 Lady Pinot (4 m Starspangledbanner - Madame Echezeaux) - Michael McNab; won the Rating 65 1200 metres on 23 August at Tauranga, and resumes from barrier three in the $11,000 Rating 75 1200 metres. She deserves respect, having won two of her last four starts, but has to carry top weight (59kgs) in a strong field.
7.41 p.m. R8 1 Fashionably (4 m Redoute's Choice - Scarlett Lady) - Michael McNab; ran home solidly out of midfield for fifth in the Rating 65 1600 metres on Melbourne Cup Day at Ellerslie, and despite carrying 59kgs she looks a top chance from barrier one in the $10,000 Rating 85 1800 metres.
