Te Akau Taranaki Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Thursday 7 December at New Plymouth.

As on Wednesday 6 December the conditions were: fine and Dead5, rail out 7 metres. No rain forecast.

4.42 p.m. R7 2 Devil May Care (4 g Lonhro - Devil's Song) - Danielle Johnson; debuted with a solid second and followed with another good effort for third to subsequent winner Under Wraps (Per Incanto), both over 1200 metres at Te Aroha. Stepping in distance seems ideal in the $10,000 Maiden 1400 metres and from barrier seven he appears presented with an ideal opportunity to break through.

4.42 p.m. R7 12 Lillet Rose (4 m Pins - Lillet) - Michael McNab; makes her debut from barrier three in the $10,000 Maiden 1400 metres. Running home nicely for fourth in her most recent trial, 16 November at Avondale, she is from a Zabeel (Sir Tristram) half-sister to dual Group Three winner Martini Red (Red Ranson), who in turn is from Pernod (Centaine) the winner of eight races and $600,000 in Australia.
