Te Akau Taranaki Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Friday 2 November at New Plymouth - twilight meeting.

As on Thursday 1 November the conditions were: fine and Dead6, rail out 9 metres.

4.57 p.m. R5 13 Enduring Love (3 f Camelot - Holy Moly) - Samantha Collett; struck pretty firm footing and found the line on debut in the Maiden 1200 metres on 10 October at Taupo, having quickened nicely into second without coming off in the bridle when trialling on 19 September at Te Rapa. Suited stepping up in distance for the $10,000 Maiden 1400 metres, her dam, Holy Moly (Holy Roman Emperor), impressed winning on slow ground, and she could produce a bold performance from barrier seven.

6.39 p.m. R8 6 Qian Gua (4 g Cape Blanco - Cool Diamonds) - Samantha Collett; unsuited as a back runner fresh-up and inside five lengths in a strong field for the Rating 72 1600 metres on 13 October at Matamata. Suited stepping up in the $11,000 Rating 72 1800 metres, with the addition of blinkers, he recorded consecutive wins over 1600 metres last season, on dead and heavy ground, and a much improved run would not surprise.
