Drawn barrier two in the $14,000 Maiden 1000 metres, she rates a top three chance. Fixed odds: $5.00 & $2.00.

1:37 p.m. R3 6 Grace ‘N' Grey (3 f Spirit of Boom - Gracious Grey) - Opie Bosson; she was swamped after leading in the Almanzor Trophy (Gr. 3, 1200m) on 21 January at Pukekohe, won by stable-mate Maven Belle (Burgundy), and drops in class for the $14,000 Rating 65 1000 metres. Her overall form is good and she can bounce back. Fixed odds: $3.80 & $1.65.

3:22 p.m. R6 3 Fierce Flight (4 g Flying Artie - First Bloom) - Opie Bosson; he came from last to win the Rating 65 2000 metres on 23 December at Matamata, and made it three wins from his last four starts in the Rating 75 2100 metres on 13 January at Tauranga. He is up in weights (59kg), but is ideally drawn (3) to figure as a top three prospect in the $20,000 Happy Hire Wairarapa Cup (Rating 75 2050m). Fixed odds: $3.80 & $1.70.

3:57 p.m. R7 1 Belle En Rouge (4 m Burgundy - Cavendish Belle) - Opie Bosson; she capped top form when powering home to win the Anniversary Handicap (Gr. 3, 1600m) on 14 January at Trentham, and contests the $65,000 Wairarapa Breeders' Stakes (Listed, 1600m). Co-reigning NZB Filly of the Year, she presents as top three proposition. Fixed odds: $2.20 & $1.30.

4:34 p.m. R8 11 Patriarca (4 m Savabeel - Baby Shacks) - Warren Kennedy; she dashed late to win the Maiden 1600 metres on 25 January at Matamata, and steps up in the $14,000 NZB Insurance Pearl Series Fillies & Mares Rating 65 1600 metres (eligible $13,000 bonus). Drawing the ace aids her prospects and she appears capable of another bold effort. Fixed odds: $12.00 & $3.60.
