3.27 p.m. R6 5 Petrucci (3 f I Am Invincible - Via Napoli) - Warren Kennedy; she won stylishly after quickening to advantage mid-straight in a trial on 7 March at Rotorua, and sprouted wings for her debut win in the Maiden 3YO 1050 metres on 15 March at Matamata. She steps up in grade for the $14,000 Rating 65 1000 metres, but the manner of her debut victory positions her as a top three chance. Fixed odds: $3.80 & $1.45. 

4:02 p.m. R7 7 Amalfi Prince (4 g Sebring - Campania) - Jonathan Riddell; he worked to get handy and fought well for sixth in the Rating 75 2100 metres on 11 March at Pukekohe, and contests the $25,000 Kuripuni Sports Bar & TAB Masterton Cup (Rating 75, 2050m). He won the Manawatu Classic (Gr. 3, 2000m) last season and is capable of proving competitive with any luck from wide draw (13). Fixed odds: $8.00 & $2.80. 

4:37 p.m. R8 7 Devoted (5 g Contributer - Mapmaker) - Warren Kennedy; he ran the fastest last 600m (35.4) in the Rating 60 1600 metres on 15 March at Matamata, and steps up in the $14,000 Rating 60 2050 metres. He appears ideally placed to race well from barrier one, while preparing for another jumps' campaign. Fixed odds: $7.00 & $2.50.
