Te Akau Taumarunui Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the nine race premier programme on Saturday 4 July at Te Rapa. 

As on Friday 3 July the conditions were: fine and Slow7, rail out 6 metres.

1.25 p.m. R4 1 Highly Likely (4 g High Chaparral - Starrinka) - Craig Grylls; was not disgraced when finishing sixth in very testing conditions on June 20 in the Rating 75 2100 metres at Tauranga, having fought solidly prior for fourth on June 1 in the Rating 75 2200 metres on Heavy11 footing at Ellerslie. Dropping back in grade for the Rating 65 2100 metres should enable him to be prove more competitive and the likelihood of improved footing assist in his first start on the course.
