Te Akau Taupo Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Wednesday 11 October at Taupo.
As on Tuesday 10 October the conditions were: overcast and Slow8, rail true. 1.5ml rain forecast Tuesday, 3mls race day.

2.52 p.m. R4 2 More Than Fast (5 g Fastnet Rock - Morgalicious) - Opie Bosson; resumes from barrier four in the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres. Surely the most consistent Maiden galloper in the country, with four seconds from as many starts, he looked strong when placing in two trials this time in, each on heavy ground. His race day efforts have been on Dead5 or better and handling the going and course will be the key to his performance.

2.52 p.m. R4 8 Lucy Wyldstyle (4 m Savabeel - Legs) - Michael McNab; spelled following two starts as a three-year-old, further maturity has been evident in both her prep trials, which included a win. Drawn barrier three in the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres, copping conditions will be crucial for the grand-daughter of New Zealand Oaks' winner Legs (Gr. 1, 2400m) and an encouraging run will set up the campaign.
