Te Akau Taupo Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the eight race programme on Wednesday 30 December at Taupo. 

As on Tuesday 29 December the conditions were: fine and Good2; rail true.

1.12 p.m. R1 7 Babilloni (5 g Cecconi - Babillard) - Cameron Lammas; led before being collared at the 150m when sixth on Dec. 23 in the Rating 65 1800 metres and New Plymouth, and contests the corresponding event. His two starts here were over shorter trips and he needs to show improvement.

4.07 p.m. R6 10 Thetruthisoutthere (3 f Starcraft - Absolute Faith) - Mark Du Plessis; was given a reprieve following a commanding win, and a start in the Soliloquy Stakes (Listed, 1400m), during her first campaign and resumes off 52 days in the Rating 65 1200 metres. She did well for second here on debut in August, has pleased in her work and boasts the form to be right amongst it from barrier three.
