Te Akau Tauranga Friday Preview

Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Friday 13 December for twilight meeting at Tauranga.

4:40 p.m. R4 14 Shockabella (3 f Shocking – My Isabella) – Wiremu Pinn; she was restrained for cover after beginning smartly and ran home pleasingly behind the leaders in a trial on 26 November at Taupo. Debuting in the $25,000 Maiden 1200 metres, she has the pedigree to get over more distance but this is a good stepping stone start to her racing career. She is ideally drawn (2) to commence with a solid effort. Fixed odds: $21.00 & $4.80. 

6:32 p.m. R7 4 Inca Belle (5 m Per Incanto – Belle Vie) – Opie Bosson; she finished strongly from a handy position for a nose defeat when resuming in the Rating 65 1300 metres on 2 November and went a similar race for second in the Rating 65 1200 metres on 16 November, both here at Tauranga. She was previously unbeaten in two course attempts to 1400 metres, is also ideally drawn (3) and rates a top three chance. Fixed odds: $4.00 & $1.70.
