3.31 p.m. R2 2 Weaponry (4 g Declaration of War - Cat Shmea) - Chelsea Burdan (a3); worked on a genuine pace before being claimed on the line by talented mare Sinarahma (Darci Brahma) in the Rating 72 1400 metres on 23 November at Awapuni, following good efforts for second and third, respectively, since resuming. Winner of the Southland Guineas (Listed, 1600m) last season, he claims to 58kgs and rates a top three chance from barrier four in the $11,000 Rating 72 1400 metres.
5.49 p.m. R6 10 Puysegur (3 f Fastnet Rock - Pins ‘N' Needles) - Craig Grylls; held sway winning a trial on 13 November at Avondale, and resumes from barrier one in the $10,000 Rating 65 1200 metres. A debut winner at two, she is a three-quarter sister to Champion Two-Year-Old and stable-mate Avantage (Fastnet Rock), with inherent family ability.
