Te Akau Tauranga Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the eight-race programme on Monday May 12 at Tauranga.

As on Sunday May 11 the conditions were: fine and Heavy10, rail out 9 metres.

3:01pm R6 3 Prospero (6 g High Chaparral - Alfred's Jewel) - Matt Cameron; has had two trials in preparation to resume in the Benchmark 75 1600 metres. He was good through the line in both trials, over sprint trips, and commenced his campaign in winning style when resuming in May last year over 1670 metres at Paeroa. He should be able find the right part of the track from barrier nine, has won and been placed in two starts on heavy ground, and brings both the form and ability to be a contender in this field.
