Te Akau Tauranga Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the nine race programme on Saturday 21 March at Tauranga.

As on Friday 20 March the conditions were: fine and Dead5, rail true. 

1.38 p.m. R3 7 Flaming (3 f Bachelor Duke - Flying Firebird) - Matt Cameron; worked home quite generously from back in the field when resuming off 105-days in the Mr Tiz Trophy (Gr. 3, 1200m) on Feb. 28 at Ellerslie. She meets a softer line-up in the 3YO 1300 metres. Expected to settle off the pace, from the outside barrier in a field of eight, she can track into the finish if able to travel kindly throughout.
