Course proper (Dead5):

Ahead of the trials on Thursday April 11 at Cambridge, Clos De Tart (Demir) andGoyescas (Miller) worked in from the 1000 metres at three-quarter pace in 1:08.9, quickening the final 600m in 38.2

Sand track:

Also trialling, Prospero (Demir) and Thrive (Miller) covered 1000 metres in 1:10, last 600m in 39.9. Scheduled for the Benchmark 65 1950 metres on April 17 at Rotorua, No Nonsense (Miller) worked with the trialling 3 f Zabeel - Mantles Princess (Demir) over 1400 metres in 1:34.5, last 600m in 38.

Adalia (Hazlett) worked precisely to the clock at three-quarter pace over 1200 metres. Flirty Gertey (2 f Thorn Park - Granma Gertey) (Demir) and Fast Fiction (Kendrick) ran 1000 metres in 1:07, last 600m in 40.6. 2 f Pins - Squall (Kendrick) worked with 2 g Ekraar - Cape Win (Hazlett), being readied for a jump out, over 600 metres at three-quarter pace. Osmunda (2 f O'Reilly - Wyndam Special) (Kendrick) and 2 f Volksraad - Rapida (Miller) worked nicely at three-quarter pace from the 600 metres in 45.

Exabelle (Kendrick) worked nicely over 1200 metres at three-quarter pace in preparation to start on April 12 in the Benchmark 65 1600 metres at Awapuni.

Preparing for respective assignments on Monday April 8 at New Plymouth, Cold Snap and Secret Whisper each worked solo with Daniel Miller aboard. Cold Snap was spot on in her three-quarter pace work over 1000 metres, and Secret Whisper pleased the rider when running 1200 metres 1:29.7, last 600m 43.8.

Ready to resume on April 15 in the Benchmark 65 1400 metres at Avondale,Riedel (Miller) worked with the trialling Sunset Pass (Demir) from the 1400 metres at three-quarter pace and clocked 37.3 for the final 600m.

Also scheduled to race over 1600 metres at Avondale Orinto and Milan Miss,each worked solo with Tommy Hazlett aboard, running perfectly to the clock in their three-quarter pace work over 1200 metres.

All-weather track:

Trialling O'Darci (Hazlett) and Wolfwhistle (2 c O'Reilly - Legs) (Miller) covered 1000 metres in 1:09, last 600m in 39.2. Continuing to come to hand, Polarity(Kendrick) worked comfortably over 1200 metres in 1:24. 2 f Darci Brahma - Eloa (Hazlett) and 2 g Saperavi - Sweet Dreams Baby (Kendrick) covered the trip in 43. 2 g Saperavi - Paraiba (Demir) and 2 f Saperavi - Paixanito(Kendrick) ran 43.5 for the 600 metres.

Two-year-old Grass:

Trialling 2 f Guillotine - Greta Hall (Demir) and 2 f More Than Ready - Insouciant (Miller) produced sharp work from the 1000 metres in 1:04.6, last 600m in 37.1. Rain-affected later in the session, Spellbinder (2 f O'Reilly - Scenic Spirit) (Miller) and 2 f Henrythenavigator - Chasing Mammon (Demir) came from the 600 metres in 40.9.
Enhance (2 f Saperavi - Pinstinct) (Miller) and 2 g Alamosa - Glittering Girl(Demir) worked in similar fashion.
