Te Akau: Te Akau Wednesday Trackwork

A couple of highlights from today's trackwork - big trials' day on Thursday.
Te Akau track work Wednesday April 10 Course proper (Dead):
Working right-handed ahead of the meeting next Monday, April 15, at Avondale,Riedel (Miller) and Orinto (Brett) worked from the 1400 metres, covering the 1200m in 1:19.5, last 600m in 37.1. It was solid work from both horses. Riedel has come to hand nicely to resume in the Benchmark 65 1400 metres, and Orinto looks to improve on her last start second when contesting the Maiden 1600 metres for fillies and mares.
Darci's Gold (Miller) and Milan Miss (Brett) also worked well together, running 1200 metres in 1:20.2 and last 600m in 36.9. Darci's Gold is scheduled to resume in the Benchmark 75 1200 metres at Avondale, and Milan Miss the Maiden 1400 metres on Wednesday April 17 at Rotorua.
