Te Akau Te Aroha Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has one horse racing on Friday 17 March at Te Aroha.

As on Thursday 16 March the conditions were: fine and Slow7, rail out 8 metres. No rain forecast.

4.04 p.m. R6 2 Alamosa Express (3 g Alamosa - Danewhisper) - Michael McNab; freshened since his stylish debut win in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on 30 November at Pukekohe, beating a field that has since left a host of winners, his action looked good in a quiet preparatory trial on 14 February at Cambridge, and he resumes off 107 days in the $10,000 Rating 65 1200 metres. A half-brother to stable-mate and six-time winner Hushed (Don Eduardo) and Secret Whisper (Align), who won four races, give in the ground should hold no fears and he warrants respect fresh-up in a sprint, despite the pedigree to get over more distance.
