Te Akau Te Aroha Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the eight-race programme on Sunday Aug. 31 at Te Aroha.

As on Saturday August 30 the conditions were: cloudy and Slow7, rail out 7.5 metres.

1.45 p.m. R3 13 Virtuous (3 f Encosta De Lago - Virtus) - Matt Cameron; debuts in the Maiden 3YO 1000 metres after doing her best work through the line in a trial on Aug. 5 over 800 metres on Slow8 footing at Te Teko. With a pedigree to suggest more ground would suit, she is from a nice family of horses that carry the Vela brand and finding the line in encouraging fashion with blinkers on will be pleasing.
