Te Akau Te Aroha Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the eleven-race programme on Wednesday November 26 at Te Aroha.

As on Tuesday Nov. 25 the conditions were: cloudy and Dead5, rail true.

12.40 p.m. R2 6 Bordeaux (3 c High Chaparral - Our Echezeaux) - Matt Cameron; was late scratched on veterinary advice after sustaining an abrasion in the starting gates last Wednesday at Woodville, but came through it fine. He finished second in a recent trial and now makes his debut from barrier five in the Maiden 1400 metres. His dam, Our Echezeaux (Zabeel), was a winner on debut over 1300 metres and already left impressive winners Dolmabache and Pure Elegance, both by Redoute's Choice (Danehill), from the family of Grand Echezeaux (Zabeel), Darci Brahma (Danehill), Burgundy (Redoute's Choice), Romanee Conti (Sir Tristram) and Ethereal (Rhythm). While the 1400m could prove a touch short, he shapes as a nice staying type in the making.
