4.20 p.m. R7 1 Avantage (5 m Fastnet Rock - Asavant) - Opie Bosson; made it eight Group Ones when defending her title in the Weight-For-Age Classic (Gr. 1, 1600m) on 27 February at Otaki, clocking a smart 1:34.0, before bowing to stable-mate Melody Belle (Commands) in the Bonecrusher NZ Stakes (Gr. 1, 2000m) on Auckland Cup Day (13 March) at Ellerslie. She quickened boldly into second when trialling on 31 March at Matamata, and warrants favouritism in the $200,000 Fibre Fresh NZ Thoroughbred Breeders' Stakes (Gr. 1, 1600m).
