2.20 p.m. R3 7 Highborn (2 f Savabeel - Tempo Manor) - Michael McNab; was held together when finishing strongly for second, off a wide run, at her only trial on 14 January at Matamata, and debuts in the $10,000 Maiden 2YO 1000 metres. From a mare that won over 1000 metres, among four wins to 1300 metres in Australia, she shapes to race well in a field containing six first starters. 

4.44 p.m. R7 5 Rakuten (3 g Savabeel - Millililli) - Opie Bosson; struck one better when finishing second in the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres on 22 January at Avondale, and contests the corresponding event. Running 34s (last 600m) in each of his three starts this season, he brings the right form to rate an each way chance.
