2:22 p.m. R3 13 Thumbelina (3 f Per Incanto – Matauri) – Craig Grylls; she won a trial nicely after situating outside the leader on 18 November at Waipa, and is having her first start for the stable in the $18,500 Maiden 1100 metres. She twice finished second in trials on Heavy10 footing before racing once as a two-year-old, harks from a top family, and looks well placed to race well from barrier one. Fixed odds: $4.40 & $1.95.
