Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the nine race twilight programme on Wednesday 25 February at Te Rapa.

As on Tuesday 24 February 23 the conditions were: fine and Dead4, rail out 3 metres.

2.17 p.m. R1 4 Osmunda (4 m O'Reilly - Wyndam Special) - Matt Cameron; resumes off 121-days in a small field of five for the Rating 75 1600 metres. A consistent performer that has produced big runs fresh up, she trialled behind subsequent impressive winner Rising Romance (Ekraar), winner of over $1.5m, and while likely to take good improvement from the run she certainly has the ability to match her opponents.

3.30 p.m. R3 6 Equanimity (4 m More Than Ready - Insouciant) - Matt Cameron; resumes off 98-days in a small field of seven for the Rating 75 1200 metres. Impressive winning her first two starts last summer, she had a quiet trial behind subsequent impressive winner Red Striker (Red Giant) over 1000 metres at Avondale. Like her stable-mate, above, she too has the quality to test her rivals at best.
