Te Akau Te Rapa Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the eleven race programme on Saturday 18 July at Te Rapa.

As on Friday 17 July the conditions were: fine and Slow8, rail out 10 metres.

11.02 a.m. R2 5 Sunset Pass (6g Yamanin Vital - Janet's Chance) Daniel Miller; set to run in one of two Maiden Hurdle races over 2800m.  Drawn the outside in a field of thirteen, his regular rider Daniel Miller will take the reins again.

He has had a recent hurdle trial at Cambridge on 6 July, where he was very impressive winning by half a length after getting back in the field early. His fitness is improving every day and we think that whatever he can do on Saturday, he will only improve on - he has the right credentials to be right in the finish.
