Te Akau Te Rapa Preview
14 August, 2015
Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the nine race programme on Saturday 15 August at Te Rapa.
As on Friday 14 August the conditions were: fine and Dead6, rail true.
2.25 p.m. R5 2 Highly Likely (5 g High Chaparral - Starrinka) - Cameron Lammas; produced a fair effort in the corresponding Rating 65 2100 metres here on July 4 and comes in off 42 days. Gear changes: blinkers and shadow roll off, and tongue tie on, could result in an improved performance.
4.51 p.m. R9 12 Vive La Difference (4 m Choisir - L'Artiste) - Cameron Lammas; resumes off 119 days in the Rating 75 1400 metres, having ended her previous campaign with a top run for third to Werther (Tavistock) in Championship Stakes (Gr. 2, 2100m) at Ellerslie. She trialled up enormously to win a strong heat last week at Te Teko, impressed winning fresh up here over 1200 metres on Dead5 last September, and appears the class factor in this field.
