Te Akau Te Rapa Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has four horses entered for the nine race programme on Saturday 11 June at Te Rapa.
As on Friday 10 June the conditions were: overcast and Dead6, rail true. 1.5mls forecast Friday.

12.44 p.m. R3 2 Zavistic (2 c Zacinto - Miss Avalon) - Matt Cameron; worked home solidly for third in the Maiden 2YO 900 metres at Ruakaka, and should appreciate stepping up in distance for the $20,000 2YO 1200 metres. Three thirds from three starts reflect his genuine qualities and he appears ideally drawn in barrier five to be right amongst it again.

12.44 p.m. R3 10 Zip Zap (2 f Stravinsky - Miss Zapper) - Doni Prastiyou (a1); found the going too testing on debut in the $10,000 NZB Pearl Series Maiden 2YO 1200 metres at New Plymouth, and with a nose band added to her gear will be ridden quietly from barrier one and look to find the line.

2.59 p.m. R7 11 Royal Success (3 g Savabeel - Royal Show) - Matt Cameron; travelled sweetly before racing away to win the Rating 65 1600 metres by six lengths on Slow9 at Otaki, having let down very well at this previous start to win the Maiden 1400 metres on Slow7 at Pukekohe. To score by six lengths, first time up in grade, is testament to his ability and although getting through the ranks quickly another top run should be forthcoming in the $22,500 Rating 75 1600 metres.

3.33 p.m. R8 17 Chadsdale (4 g Castledale - Geeiliani) - Cameron Lammas; resumes off 119 days in the $22,500 Rating 75 1200 metres, but requires a further scratching in order to make the field off the ballot. He has won fresh up over 1200 metres and ended his two win/four start campaign with a win here over 1400 metres in February.
