Te Akau Te Rapa Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse racing at the Cambridge Jockey Club meeting on Sunday 20 November at Te Rapa.

As on race morning the conditions were: fine and Dead5, rail out 6 metres. No rain forecast race day.

12.30 p.m. R1 4 Gold Fever (2 f Savabeel - Gold Rocks) - Matt Cameron; makes her debut from barrier three in the Maiden 2YO 1000 metres, having worked through the line solidly in each of her two trials, over 630m and 800m, both on slow footing. A sister to Matamata Breeders' Stakes (Gr. 2, 1200m) winner Gold Rush, in February this year, she looks a natural two-year-old and should give a good account of herself in this field.
