Te Akau Te Rapa Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse racing on Sunday 26 November at Te Rapa.

As on Saturday 25 November the conditions were: overcast and Dead4, rail out 8 metres. Showers forecast Saturday.

2.18 p.m. R3 2 Master Painton (3 g Reliable Man - Abbey Tralae) - Michael McNab; debuts from barrier two in the $10,000 Maiden 3YO 1200 metres. He displayed athleticism to win his first trial in September at Avondale, and ran home very well to finish amongst the leading division on 9 November at Cambridge. His dam, Abbey Tralae (Traditionally), won seven times, impressing over 1200 metres on good and slow going, including a victory on this course, and the indicators suggest she has left another horse with the potential to win races.
