Te Akau New Zealand has one horse racing on Saturday 9 June at Te Rapa.
As on Friday 8 June the conditions were: fine and Slow8, rail out 15 metres. No rain forecast.
1.19 p.m. R5 1 Bojangles (4 g Roc de Cambes - Stever House) - Tegan Newman (a3); won with plenty of merit on Anzac Day in the Rating 65 1400 metres at Awapuni, clocking the fastest last 600m of the day (35.7) on Slow8 footing. On 23 May at Avondale, in the Rating 65 1600 metres, he ran a notable fourth despite Heavy11 conditions. Drawn barrier two, with weight relief to 56.5kgs, he should strike more favourable going to rate an each way chance in the $22,500 Rating 65 1600 metres.
