Te Akau Te Rapa Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has one horse racing on Labour Day, Monday 22 October, at Te Rapa.

As on race morning the conditions were: fine and Dead4, rail out 6 metres. No rain forecast.

4.42 p.m. R7 2 Sword of Osman (3 g Savabeel - Bunyah) - Opie Bosson; yielded late for fifth after travelling quickly in front on 6 October in the Hawkes Bay Guineas (Gr. 2, 1400m), at his second start back from a spell. As a two-year-old, he was incredibly dominant winning the Matamata Slipper (Gr. 3, 1200m) at his third start and then proved too good in the Sistema Stakes (Gr. 1, 1200m).

In the $100,000 James & Annie Sarten Memorial Stakes (Gr. 2, 1400m), with the speed to position handily from barrier nine, and side winkers off, he can threaten if able to travel conservatively. Fixed odds: $9.00 & $2.50.
