Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Saturday 15 December at Te Rapa.

1.05 p.m. R2 5 Yourdeel (2 g Dundeel - Miss Zapper) - Opie Bosson; got back off a wide gate before finishing strongly for fifth when trialling over 1000 metres on 27 November at Matamata, with Bosson aboard, and debuts in the $30,000 2YO 1200 metres. Boasting a versatile sort of pedigree, able to stay in touch from barrier three should see him race well. Fixed odds: $6.20 & $2.00.

5.10 p.m. R9 1 King Kane (5 g Showcasing - Vannista Belle) - Opie Bosson; returned to form when circling from back in the field only to be claimed near the line in the Rating 65 1560 metres on 28 November at Rotorua, with Bosson aboard. He meets a similar field - probably a touch stronger - but has top four claims from barrier five. Fixed odds: $10.50 & $3.20.
