Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Sunday 20 January at Te Rapa.

As on Saturday 19 January the conditions were: overcast and Dead4, rail true. Showers forecast Sunday morning.

3.20 p.m. R6 8 She's Not Bad (4 m He's Remarkable - Andra) - Matt Cameron; appeared likely to force the issue when denied room last time in the Rating 72 1400 metres on 5 January at Awapuni, following a third and fifth respectively in strong fields at Ellerslie. She won impressively over 1300 metres in November at Hastings, running the fastest last 600m (34.9) on the day, and ideally placed to threaten in the $16,000 Rating 72 1400 metres.

3.55 p.m. R7 19 Shezathinka (3 f So You Think - Headsup) - Michael Coleman; followed a competitive last 600m on debut with an improved performance for second over 1200 metres in December at Hastings, and followed up on the same course with another good second on 1 January in the NZB Insurance Pearl Series Maiden 1400 metres. Handily drawn (5) in the $10,000 Maiden 1600 metres, she brings the right form to rate an each way chance.
