Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Saturday 3 August at Te Rapa.

3.39 p.m. R7 1 Bak Da Master(5 g Mastercraftsman - Bak Da Princess) - Michael McNab; continued solid form with a game second off the outside gate in the Rating 65 2200 metres on 29 June at Hastings, and contests the $22,500 Rating 65 2100 metres. He finished fourth here two starts ago, in the corresponding event, and again rates a top four chance with the right trip from barrier 12. 





4.14 p.m. R8 12 Ritzy Sparkle(4 m Pins - Kumari) - Michael McNab; kept up a resolute gallop to win a 900-metre trial on 15 July at Te Rapa, ridden by McNab, and resumes in the $22,500 Rating 65 1200 metres. She won on debut over 1200 metres on Slow9 footing, has only had three starts, and gets the chance from barrier six to kick off with an encouraging performance.
