Te Akau Te Teko Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the seven-race programme on Wednesday June 25 at Te Teko.

As on Tuesday June 24 the conditions were: overcast and Heavy10, rail out 8 metres.

1:55pm R4 6 Clos De Tart (4 m Darci Brahma - Rapid Kay) - Matt Cameron; settled at the rear after being knocked sideways leaving the gates and tracked home solidly for sixth in the Benchmark 75 1400 metres on Slow9 at Ellerslie. Prior to, she had shown plenty of heart to win the Benchmark 65 1400 metres Heavy11 footing at Te Aroha. Drawn barrier four in a field of eight for the Benchmark 75 1600 metres, her two wins have been recorded on heavy ground and she has the courage to prove competitive if appreciative of the course and footing.
