Te Akau Terang Friday Preview

Te Akau Racing has one horse entered on Friay 28 February at Terang (Victoria).

7:30 p.m. (NZ) ~ 5:30 p.m. (VIC) R9 1 Colour Sergeant (7 g Kingman – Quilita) – Sage Duric (a3); he ran home fine for fourth in a jump out on 10 February at Cranbourne, and resumes in the A$27,000 Benchmark 58 1400 metres. Having first start for the stable, he raced consistently well before winning over 2000 metres in Ireland, and posted three subsequent wins to 1700 metres in Australia, including a Benchmark 78. The stable apprentice delivers weight relief to 59.5kg, and while he appears best suited to yielding ground, we will be looking for him to kick off his new preparation with an encouraging performance.
