Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 22 September -

Flemington:

Xtravagant (D. Oliver) worked 1000 metres, last 400 in 24. Xtravagant (Pentire) has come through his trial at Cranbourne on Monday in good order and both rider and trainer are pleased with him leading into Saturday's Group One Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes over 1400 metres, where he has drawn well in barrier six.

No. 2 Sand:

Corporate Missile (Cole) and Lucy Wyldstyle (Lammas) went 1000 metres at three-quarter pace in 1.12.9, last 600 in 43.1. Both fillies worked nicely in preparation for their weekend targets, Corporate Missile (Smart Missile) heads to the Group Three Bonecrusher Stakes at Ellerslie and Lucy Wyldstyle (Savabeel) begins her racing career at Te Aroha on Sunday in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metre event.

Unbeaten colt Heroic Valour (McNab) worked over 1000 metres, he ran his last 800 in 1.02, 600 in 44.5.

After an unlucky fifth at Taupo, Tiffany's Time (Miller) looked good working over 1000 metres, she ran her last 800 in 59, 600 in 44.

Dontblamethemusic (Cameron) and Lady Jasmine (Fawcett) were followed by Royal O'Reilly (Pinn - below) over 800 metres 59.1, last 600 in 44.2.

Organza (K. Price) and Lady Zeraph (Hillis) ran 600 metres in 44.9.

Co-trainer Jamie Richards was impressed Foreigner (McNab) this morning, the 3YO son of Savabeel ran 1000 metres in 1.11.4, last 600 in 40.9. He is set to make his race day debut next Wednesday at Ruakaka.

Smashing (Miller) ran 800 metres in 59, last 600 in 43.5.

Vinevale (Cameron) and 3f Pins - Lillet (Miller) both looked good working separately over 800 metres in 59.9, last 600 in 44.8.

Epic Tale (Lammas) partnered with Pure Savalina (Fawcett) went 800 metres, running their last 600 in 42.5.

Splurge (McNab) ran 1000 metres in 1.12, last 600 in 43.5.

Zip Zap (Hillis) was tracked by Abloom (K. Price) went 800 metres in 1.01.4, last 600 in 44.8.

Sebrose (Cameron) followed Elegant D'Oro (Miller) ran 800 metres in 1.00, last 600 in 45.3.

The Chaser (Lammas) and Winehouse (Miller) went 800 metres in 59.8, last 600 in 44.8.

Herschal (Cameron) worked over 800 metres, running his last 600 in 43.9.

2g Rip Van Winkle - Vega Sicilia (Hillis) and 2f Burgundy - Aventura (K. Price) ran 600 in 46.1.

Grazia (Fawcett) went 800 in 58.3, last 600 in 43.3.

2g Castledale - Emma's Choice (Lowry) with 2f Burgundy - Squall (M. Grylls) ran 600 in 45.5.

Riccarton:

On the plough Imperium (K Shailer) worked from the 1000m in 1.12.3. Similar work was achieved by Highly Likely (K Shailer) which recorded 1.11.1. Madam Jamai was given a soft task in taking 1.17.3 from the 1000m.

Love Actually (Didham) and Latin Rose (Wynne) went together from the 800m in 51.2 and but increased the tempo for a final 400m in 23.6.
