Plough - fog prevented early times:
Lady Amadeus (Winter) and Vinevale (Fawcett) prepared for their weekend assignments by working over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace. Lady Amadeus (Medaglia D'Oro) will make her race day debut at Te Rapa on Sunday in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metre event. Vinevale (Flying Spur) has drawn barrier four in the Rating 75 1400 metre event at Ellerslie on Saturday.
Madam Monica (K. Price) and Fastnet Fire (Winter) worked over 1200 metres in 1.21.5. Madam Monica (Mastercraftsman) heads to Te Rapa on Sunday for the Maiden 3YO 1600 metre event.
Royal Success (Richards) covered 1000 metres in 1.12.5, last 600 in 42. Royal Success (Savabeel) will be ridden by Jonathan Riddell when he resumes on Saturday in the Rating 75 1340 metre event at Wanganui.
Shocking Luck (Miller) looked full of running at the end of 1200 metres, he covered the ground in 1.25. Jonathan Riddell will also ride Shocking Luck (Shocking) on Saturday at Wanganui in the Maiden 2000 metre contest.
Abidewithme (M. Grylls) looked good when she appears from the fog after going 1000 metres as she prepares for next Saturday's Group One Captain Cook Stakes at Trentham.
Zambezi Warrior (Richards) has come through his victory at New Plymouth in good order and worked over 1200 metres this morning.
Lady Jasmine (Lammas) matched strides with Dame Margo Fonteyn (M. Grylls) over 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 38.6.
Grazia (Fawcett) covered 1000 metres in 1.06.
Paradise Rock (Leveque) strode out over 1200 metres in 1.24, last 600 in 37.3.
Maleficent (Lammas) completed 1000 metres in 1.05.5, last 600 in 37.5
More Than Fast (Tan) worked alongside Melody Belle (Lammas) over 800 metres.
Pure Savalina (Fawcett) and 3f Redoute's Choice (Winter) went travelling strongly at the completion of 1000 metres in 1.05.
Exhibition (Richards) and Alamosa Express (Shailer) ran 1000 metres at three quarters. Lucy Wyldstyle (Winter) and Savvy Lady (Winter) also covered 1000 metres.
Skyscraper (Leveque) and Smashing (Cole) worked individually over 800 metres.
