Beaumarchais (Miller), who was scratched from today's Ellerslie meeting and will run in the Special Conditions Maiden at Ellerslie on Sunday, worked over 1000 metres in 1.11, last 600 in 40.

Zambezi Warrior (McNab) ran 1200 metres in 1.34, last 600 in 44.5. He will start in the Group Three City Of Auckland Cup over 2400 metres at Ellerslie on New Year's Day, though he has drawn wide in barrier sixteen.

Sebrose (Winter) ran 1200 metres in 1.36, last 600 in 45. He has drawn barrier two in Saturday's Stratford Cup over 2000 metres and will carry the number 1 saddlecloth.
