Plough:

Stanica Star (Hercock) and Stylee (Lang) worked over 1200 metres in 1:18.7, last 600m in 35.8. Stanica Star is returning to the same venue as his last start win for Benchmark 85 1800 metres on Dec. 23 at New Plymouth, and having made good ground for third when resuming Stylee is gearing up for a mile next Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Matamata.

Second in his each of his two starts, Peerage (Hercock) worked with fresh-up winner Show No Emotion (Lang) over 1200 metres in 1:18.5, last 600m in 36.2. Both (pictured below) are preparing for Matamata. As to Exabelle (Lang) who worked with 4 g Faltaat - Alley McBeal (Hercock) over a mile with the last 1200 metres in 1:20.

Being readied for the Benchmark 85 1400 metres on Boxing Day at Ellerslie, stakes winning mare Abidewithme (Lang) worked solo over 1000 metres in 1:05.2, last 600m in 37.1.

Trialling next Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Te Aroha, 3 f More Than Ready - Insouicant (Myers) and 3 g Sir Percy - Dutyful (Hercock) worked (both pictured below) over 1000 metres 1:05.3, last 600m in 37.1.

Three-quarter pace:

Aspen (Hercock) 1000 metres, Sovereign Rose (Ellis) 800m, O'Darci (Adams) 1000m, Irish Mystic (Lang) and Light Source (Hercock) 800m, Rockfast (Lang), Realize (Hercock) and 2 g Tale of the Cat - Quatro (Jones) worked as a trio over 800m, and Bronte Lass (Lang) went 1000m in preparation for the Benchmark 85 1600m on Waikato Cup Day this Saturday, Dec. 14, at Te Rapa.
