Plough:

Smashing (K. Jones) and Melody Belle (R. Hutchings) matched strides over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 42. Smashing (Pins) has drawn well in the Open Handicap over 1200 metres on Saturday while the Karaka Million winner Melody Belle will gallop between races.

Gold Fever (Miller) covered 1000 metres at three-quarter pace in 1.15, last 600 in 45. Opie Bosson has been engaged to ride the filly in Saturday's Group Two Matamata Breeders' Stakes.

Hushed (McNab) pleased race day rider Michael McNab with his work over 1200 metres as he prepares for Saturday's Listed Kaimai Stakes over 2000 metres where he has drawn awkwardly in barrier fourteen.

Summer Monsoon (McNab) rounded out his preparations for Saturday's Listed Matamata Slipper working over 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 44. Opie Bosson has been engaged for the ride and he should get a nice run from barrier one.

Our Abbadean (K. Jones), a likely starter in the Rating 75 2000 metre race on Saturday, worked over 1200 metres, running her last 600 metres in 44.5.

Beaumarchais (Miller) looked well in his work over 1200 metres, currently sits one on the ballot for next Saturday's New Zealand Derby.

The Avondale Guineas' winner Gingernuts (McNab) worked over 1200 metres in 1.30, last 600 in 45. He has bounced through Saturday's victory and is on target for the Group One New Zealand Derby on Saturdya week.

Heart Of Courage (Miller) and Organza (M. Grylls) worked over 800 metres, running their last 600 in 39.4.

Grazia (Cole) worked over 1200 metres in 1.21.7, running home the last 600 in 38.4.

Dame Margo Fonteyn (Fawcett) looked to be enjoying her work over 1200 metres in 1.26, last 600 in 41.2.

O'Naturelle (M. Grylls) worked in company with Zedman (Tan) ran 800 metres in 54, last 600 in 42.9.

Wide Awake (Leveque) and Fashionably (Cole) worked over 1200 metres in 1.21.5, last 600 in 39.2.

Kingsman (McNab), Unfazed (Miller) and Cousteau (Miller) all impressed working over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace.
