Plough - heavy fog prevented timings:

New Zealand Derby third favourite Gingernuts (Miller) was followed by Beaumarchais (McNab) over 1200 metres at three-quarter pace. Both appeared from the heavy fog travelling nicely, Gingernuts (Iffraaj) has drawn barrier thirteen while Beaumarchais (Savabeel) has drawn well in barrier four for the Group One New Zealand Derby over 2400 metres on Saturday.

Brer (Leveque) and Gardenier (M. Grylls) prepares for their assignments at Avondale next Wednesday, by working over 1200 metres.

Age Of Fire (McNab) and Remington (Pinn) cross the line on terms at the end of 600 metres as they prepare for their upcoming trials.

Group Two Matamata Breeders Stakes' winner Gold Fever (Miller) had a quiet hit out over 1000 metres. She has bounced through Saturday's victory and she heads to the Group One Sistema Stakes at Ellerslie next Saturday.

Latin Rose (Leveque) looked good emerging from the fog at the end of 1000 metres at three-quarter pace. She heads to next Saturday's Group Three Westbury Classic over 1400 metres at Ellerslie.

Alamosa Express (McNab) and Scarlet Princess (Miller), another pair heading to Avondale next Wednesday, matched strides over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace.

Tatters (Leveque) has come through her second placing at Avondale in good order, she worked nicely over 1000 metres this morning as she prepares for the Rating 65 1600 metre contest at Ellerslie next Saturday.

Pacific Coast (McNab) and Jet Set (Miller) covered 600 metres at three-quarter pace. Full Of Grace (McNab) and Embellish (Miller) were the next pair out and did very similar work. All four looked to be travelling well at the line and will all trial at Rotorua on Tuesday, March 7.
