Course Proper:

Group One Sistema Stakes runners Melody Belle (McNab) and Gold Fever (Lammas) matched strides over 1000 metres in 1.12.5. Co-trainer Stephen Autridge was impressed with their work heading into Saturday's feature. Karaka Million winner Melody Belle (Commands) has drawn barrier nine while Matamata Breeders' Stakes' winner Gold Fever (Savabeel) has drawn handy in barrier two.

Fellow Ellerslie runners on Saturday Tatters (Leveque) and Latin Rose (R. Hutchings) covered 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 42. Latin Rose (Mastercraftsman) is after more black-type in the Group Two Westbury Classic and Tatters (Tavistock) will look to go one better on Saturday in the Rating 65 1600 metre contest.

All-Weather:

Group One New Zealand Oaks' bound Dame Margo Fonteyn (Fawcett) covered 1200 metres at three-quarter pace. Our other Oaks' runner Fashionably (Cole) also worked over 1200 metres, she covered the covered the gorund in 1.25, last 600 in 40.

Following his third placing in Saturday's Group Three Mongolian Khan Trophy, Kingsman (McNab) ran 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 44.5.

Our Abbadean (K. Jones) looked good working over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace. Aquilo (Miller) was another to impress in his work this morning as he went 800 metres at three-quarter pace.

Wide Awake (Tan) worked over 1200 metres at three-quarter pace, running his last 1000 metres in 1.14, 600 in 43.

Alamosa Express (McNab), who was scratched from Avondale yesterday, worked with Heart Of Courage (Miller) over 1000 metres in 1.17, last 600 in 44.6.

Another scratched from Avondale yesterday, Scarlet Princess (K. Price) worked over 1000 metres in 1.15.2, last 600 in 44.8.

2g Pour Moi - Villa Wanda (Pinn), 2c Azamour - Franny (Miller) and 2g Rip Van Winkle - Vega Sicilia (McNab) worked well as a trio over 800 metres in 1.02, last 600 in 46.

Foreigner (Miller) worked over 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 38.3 while Sassy ‘N' Smart (M. Grylls) worked over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace.

O'Know (R. Hutchings) covered 800 metres in 58, last 600 in 43 and Lady Pinot (K. Price) also worked over 800 metres, running her last 600 in 43.7.

Niamh Elizabeth (Lammas) continues to build her fitness levels by working over 800 metres in 1.00, last 600 in 44.9. Astrid (Fawcett) was next out doing similar work.

2g Darci Brahma - Rihanna (R. Hutchings) worked in company with 2f Roc De Cambes - Sweet Torque (M. Grylls) over 600 metres in 46.

Lady Masako (K. Price) was followed by 3f Pins - Lillet (Rika) over 800 metres, running their last 600 in 44.8.

Poppin' Bubbles (Rika) and Inspire Me (K. Price) both looked good completing their three-quarter pace work over 600 metres.
