Summer Monsoon (Miller) who has drawn well in the Group One Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes, worked over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 44.5. First emergency in the event Swing Note (K. Price) did the same work.

Beaumarchais (Miller) worked over 1200 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 44. He has his first start on Saturday since his fourth placing in the Group One New Zealand Derby - lining up in the Group Three Manawatu Classic over 2000 metres where he has drawn barrier six.

Zambezi Warrior (Pinn) preparing to resume on Saturday at Ellerslie in the Rating 85 1500 metre event, worked over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 45.

Tatters (M. Grylls) looked good working over 1000 metres in 1.15. She has drawn gate six in the Rating 65 1550 metre event at Awapuni on Saturday and Jason Waddell has been engaged for the ride.

Brisbane bound Heroic Valour (Miller) and Hall Of Fame (Lammas) covered 1000 metres in 1.10, stopping the clock in 40 for their last 600 metres. Another bound for the Brisbane Winter Carnival, Shocking Luck (Miller) worked over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 44.

Our Abbadean (K. Jones) was given an easy time over 1200 metres in 1.31, last 600 in 45.5.

Fastnet Fire (Tan) worked over 1200 metres at three-quarter pace, running her last 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 45.5. Abloom (Fawcett) and Lady Amadeus (Lammas) both ran their 1000 metres in similar time behind.

Miss Scandinavia (C. Grylls) worked over 800 metres in 1.02, last 600 in 45.3. Play For Time (K. Price) worked over 1000 metres in 1.13.5, last 600 in 44.

3f Pins - Lillet (K. Price) and 2f Darci Brahma - Velvet And Satin (Leveque) both looked to be travelling well at the end of 800 metres, running their last 600 in 40.2. 2f Burgundy - Trove (Rika) and 2f Fastnet Rock - Forest Native (Fawcett) did similar work and both looked good also.

Piper (Fawcett) travelled nicely on the bridle with 3f Mastcraftsman - Gardd (Lammas) over 600 metres in 41.  Meteroic Lass (Leveque) and 2f Bernardini - Ethernal (Tan) worked over 600 metres in 43.

Rocksun (Pinn) worked over 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 45.2.  Lady Masako (K. Price) covered her 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 40.

Zedman (Leveque) worked over 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 40.9.

2g Reliable Man - Abbey Tralae (Miller) and 2g Ocean Park - Queen Rania (Lammas) increased their tempo from the 600 metres and stopped the clock in 41. English Rose (Fawcett) and 2f Burgundy - Scicolone (M. Grylls) went slightly quicker, covering the 600 in 39.7.

2f Fastnet Rock - Gipsy Countless (Rika) and Inspire Me (K. Price) enjoyed their work over 600 metres in 42.
