Te Akau track work highlights -  Thursday 21 September -

Course Proper:

Gingernuts (Bosson) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.28, 42.7. He was followed by Chance To Dance (Lammas) who ran very similar times. Gingernuts has drawn nicely in the Windsor Plate while Chance To Dance is third on the ballot and will more than likely run at Pukekohe on Sunday in the Listed Haunui Farm Karaka Classic.

Queen Of The Air (McNab) and Our Abbadean (Lammas) galloped an easy 800 metres in 53, last 600 in 40.1. Queen Of The Air is set for a race day debut at Pukekohe on Sunday.

Its Our Showtime (Bosson) looked good galloping an easy 1000 metres in 52.2, last 600 in 39.7 easy 1000. Its Our Showtime is working toward running at Avondale next Wednesday the Rating 65 1200 metre event.

In preparation for the Rating 65 3YO 1100 metre event at Hastings on Saturday, Cousteau (Bosson) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 43.5.

All Weather:

Madam Monica (Lammas) worked well in company with a companion, galloping  800 metres in 54.7, home in 39.7 while Firebrand (McNab) galloped an easy 600 metres also alongside a companion, working on the rail running 42.2.

No2. Sand:

English Rose (Tan) and Verbal Command (Lammas) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.06, last 600 in 38.8.

Full Of Grace (Tan) and Elegant D'Oro (Leveque) galloped an easy 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 40. Both horses worked along nicely.

Bak Da Master (McNab) and 4g Lonhro - Devil's Song (Bakar) looked good when galloping over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 39.5.

Lucy Wyldstyle (Bakar) and 3f Fastnet Rock - Gipsy Countess (K Price) paired up to gallop an easy 800 metres in 56, last 600 in 41.
