Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 26 October -


Course Proper:

Embellish (McNab) and Queen Of The Air (Pinn) worked together over 800 metres in 58, finishing off the last 600 in 41. Both horses are set to travel to Wellington tomorrow to race on Saturday.

Beaumarchais (McNab) worked solo at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.30, last 600 in 44.3. Beaumarchais also makes the trip to Wellington tomorrow to contest the Group 3 Thompson Handicap on Saturday.

 

All Weather:

Pinot Grey (M Grylls) and Shebringsmerubies (Burdan) paired up to gallop over an easy 600 metres in 38.5.

 

No2. Sand:

Vinevale (M Grylls) worked on her own at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 45. Vinevale is ready to run in the Rating 75 1400 metres at Ellerslie this Saturday.

Te Akau Shark (K Jones) lead Madam Monica (Tan) over 1200 metres at three quarter pace, both horses running the last 600 in 45.

Aquilo (McNab) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 44 while Lucy Wyldstyle (Pinn) worked over 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 41.

Gingernuts (K Jones) looked good when travelling solo over 1200 metres at three quarter pace, working home in 46 - he also enjoyed a swim (main picture).

Qian Cheng (Tan) and Cavort (Leveque) galloped an easy 800 metres, running the last 600 in 42.

3f Super Easy - Flower Girl (Leveque) worked solo at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 45.

Al Hasa (McNab) worked solo at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 45. Al Hasa is due to debut in the 2YO 880 metre event at Ellerslie this Saturday.
